dc CUP (Happy birthday!)

 Le Déjeuner avec Rose

My homage to Meret Oppenheim at her centenary today

Surrealism... magical... sexy... humorous... deep, love it!

Back in 1993 during my study I did this photo here:

 Construction of Reality

One of the cups isn't really a cup, it's only the image of a cup...
like reality... the whole photo is only an image of the reality

And: there are many cups here at Rose:

A cup at the 3rd dc
Two cups in the Garden of Isolde
Watched the conjunction of moon and venus with a nice cup of Earl Grey
Had teatime on the balcony of the Castle at the Eisenbach
Mad teaparty with Alice in Wonderland (dc No 38)
Put a white cup in a black surrounding
...
a.s.o.
..

dear Stefanie Seltner
thank you for this drawing challenge... you has hand me your theme cup on a plate
and it's even your birthday today!

Bottoms up!

Happy birthday, liebe Stefanie!

Please come to her marvellous place
and join her virtual birthday party with many, many phantastic artists
who will bring their own cup

No 116 Maria

today! No 117 Stefanie Seltner at the 5th + 6th of October with CUP

next: N0 118 sunny Kristen

No 119 Barbara Bee

Who is our next host?

    Barbara

  9. dear ariane,
is that your hanging cup collection?! I ADORE IT! anyhow, a collector of random cups, they decorate the space around me, this looks so inviting, to sit, with a tea, or a coffee, a calm and serious and funny conversation... many hugs to you

p.s. love that photo. Excellent study. What grabbed my attention is that wood lemon squeezer thing. I have one of those. I love it hugely. :)
